Pacsafe opens first flagship store in PH

No matter how long the journey or what destination your travel leads to, one’s safety, including the protection of personal valuables, is and must always be a primary concern.

Built on this aspiration by Australian founders Rob Schlipper (CEO) and Magnus McGlashan (President, Sales and Marketing), top travel brand Pacsafe rose to become a name synonymous to smart and safe travel.

As the pioneer of the travel security category since 1998, Pacsafe has successfully trotted all over the globe, delivering on its brand promise as the world’s most secure anti-theft travel gear.

Being the only brand that focuses solely on travel security, Pacsafe has steadily moved up and gained solid industry leadership throughout the years, thanks to its trademark innovations like the eXomesh® followed by a series of award winning technologies that are the core strengths of its ingenious product engineering.

Pacsafe’s renowed reputation as a highly reliable travel gear brand made it a top choice among Filipinos. In fact, this growing demand made the Philippines the top bag seller of Pacsafe travel essentials among other retailer-locations in the world. Moved by this overwhelming patronage, Pacsafe has finally decided to open its first flagship store at the Glorietta 5 Ayala Malls in Makati City.

The newly launched boutique – the company’s first in the world and in Southeast Asia – will increase the availability of the company’s range of products which include adventure backpacks, urban and leisure bags, women’s bags, photography bags, luggage and travel accessories such as straps, cables and locks, all specifically designed to ward off pickpockets and bag slashers.

Through this milestone store opening development, more Filipinos can now confidently look forward to safer and worry-free trips with Pacsafe smart travel gear made accessible in one convenient location.

“We are very happy and excited that finally we have opened our first flagship store in the world right here in the Philippines. Our avid supporters here and their strong reception to Pacsafe have been truly overwhelming, which is why we didn’t think twice in choosing the Philippines as location for our maiden outlet,” says Roshiela Sun, COO of Pacsafe Philippines.

Sustainability commitments

As a way of giving back to the inspiration where its adventure began, Pacsafe has extended its company’s global marine turtle conservation advocacy in the country.

Pacsafe donated PhP 235,000 to Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation, Inc. for the preservation of the Pawikan Conservation Center located in Morong, Bataan during the launch.

The aid, according to Eros Enriquez, marketing manager of Pacsafe Philippines, is the brand’s sincere contribution to help protect and propagate safe and healthy oceans, coastlines and other environments that support marine life, most especially endangered sea turtles worldwide.

“At Pacsafe, the sea turtle symbolizes the intrepid, global traveler. The Pacsafe Turtle Dun, the CSR arm that supports various conservation advocacies by providing annual funding grants, perfectly represents our heartfelt tribute to this amazing marine animal,” says Eros.

Exclusively distributed in the country by United Limsun International Trading Corp., Pacsafe smart travel bags and accessories are available at the flagship store located at G/F Glorietta 5, Ayala Malls, Makati City.
