Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live life without limits?
We’ve all heard that “whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve” by Napoleon Hill, but is it really possible?
Yes, it is possible! They say failure and success are only figments of our imaginations, and to achieve greater things, we only need to pick either success or failure. And I choose success. You have to choose success.
Success can be big or small. Some people often relate success to bigger things that they tend to overlook those little things that helped them achieve those great things.
Recently, I was able to finish two books in a span of two weeks and for me, it’s already a success.
Why? Because lately, I’m having a hard time focusing and finishing a single book. There are too many distractions. There’s lack of sleep, new and exciting local TV soap operas, internet, and extracurricular activities that reading has become my least priority.
But because I needed inspiration and motivation, I forced myself to read again and stumbled upon “Life Without Limits”, a book by Nick Vujicic, and it made me realize how I’ve missed a lot of things because I felt I was not good, smart, strong, or beautiful enough; that everything is possible if I only put my mind to it.
Nick is a Serbian-Australian evangelist and motivational speaker born without arms and legs but has managed to surf, swim, type, travel, marry, and have a child – everything that we thought only normal people, complete with arms and legs, can do! Can you imagine that?
As a child, he struggled mentally, emotionally, and physically because of his disabilities, until he realized his greater purpose in life.
His talks all over the world inspired others to continue hoping and finding meaning in life. He’s a firm believer that God uses each one of us, especially our disabilities for His greater purpose.
And in everything, especially in business, in order to be successful, we have to believe that we can achieve anything that our mind has conceived. If Nick can, we can do better, because we were given complete set of arms and legs.
God has given us life with endless opportunities and possibilities and now it’s up to us to live that life, to risk without fear and limits. “Risk, then, is not just part of life. It is life. The place between your comfort zone and your dream is where life takes place. It’s the high-anxiety zone, but it’s also where you discover who you are,” says Nick.
Life has to take us somewhere unknown and unfamiliar in order for us to learn and grow. But in order to fully enjoy it, we must be open to witness and feel it and live life without limits.
