4 tips to get your body summer-ready

Don’t wait for summer to start some crazy diet. One of the biggest keys to getting in shape for summer is starting before it hits!  Get your body ready for the summer with these simple tips from Electrolux:

  1. Hit the stairs. Instead of taking the elevator, you can burn calories by taking the stairs up and down whenever you have the chance. You will burn a lot of calories just by bypassing the elevator.
  2. Eat at least five meals a day. That’s right, five meals a day, but not five huge meals. Try to eat five small balanced meals. Digestion burns calories, and you are less inclined to overeat if you are not starving when it’s time to eat. Pack some snacks to eat between meals.
  3. Natural detox drinks can also help with weight loss. Flushing the toxins out of your body is a must and hydration is the key to success with your summer ready body. Add extra ingredients to your water to enrich the minerals, and get the glowing benefits of fresh fruits. Jumpstart your day with a banana smoothie or fruit infused water – try watermelon and mint or lemon cucumber honey, to help boost energy.
  4. Clean up your menu. Challenge yourself to eat five different vegetables a day. Have fruit for breakfast instead of bagels. Switch to black coffee instead of sugary frappucino. Eat nuts for sustaining energy in the afternoon instead of an energy drink. You’d be surprised how making just a few minor changes can make you feel great and make a big change on the scale.

With this change in lifestyle, go for refrigerators that understand your desire and passion for wellness like the Electrolux NutriFresh™ Inverter Refrigerator. This line of refrigerators ensures that your fruits and vegetables stay market-fresh for up to seven days so that dishes can be healthier and more flavourful!

The NutriFresh™ Inverter Refrigerators are equipped with a FreshShield Crisper which comes with a unique tight seal to keep temperatures stable, minimize water loss and provide higher humidity so that fruits and vegetables stay fresh for up to seven days.

  1. That looks amazing, Mylene! Great tips. Good timing because most people are all excited about health and wellness in January. They may have slipped a little by now. Ha ha.
